Uber / “Welcome to Montréal.”



Uber’s first experiential activation in Canada touched down at the world’s largest jazz festival.

This is a huge festival that takes over downtown Montréal. Large Crowds + Long Distances + Summer Heat = Weary Feet. What if there was somewhere you could go to rest and reset. A pit stop between big destinations. Somewhere cool, convenient and above all, COMFORTABLE.


We built a ride-inspired space where guests could recharge, cool off, and kick back. The space was complete with dramatic air vents (yes, hair movement included), AC-powered backseat seating, curated giveaways, and a panoramic photo moment with a view of Montréal.


We brought Uber Rides and Uber Eats to life side by side with two distinct spaces designed to feel like one brand. Guests kicked back in the backseat under a digital sunroof of Montréal, cooled by air vents built for the moment. Next door, Uber Eats activated its Yes/No campaign with a deli counter, food tickets, and a steady stream of fresh giveaways.


Results:
20K+ guests stopped in. 45K giveaways left our hands. 1,067 emails captured. 420K+ reach from content shared.
