Nespresso / “There’s Always Room for Great Coffee.”
A mini café in an elevator at One World Trade Center in New York City, for the celebration of 10th anniversary of Nespresso Vertuo Pop.
When you live in a small space and have a small budget to work with, you’re constantly putting your problem-solving skills for design dilemmas to the test.
We helped Nespresso to have put this thinking into practice, by transforming an elevator at New York’s One World Trade Center into the stylish, two-person Vertuo Pop Café.
From the lobby to the 64th floor, commuters riding up to their offices were treated to a quick demo of the machine and a hot espresso, latte or coffee to go. Talk about an elevator pitch.
Art Direction: Inspired by the Vertuo Pop machine itself, including the whimsical “Candy Pink” color palette, and mirrored domes mounted on the walls, which were a reference to the capsules. What’s more, the ample curved edges and the ripple-texture floor and ceiling, take cues from the shape and textures of the machine.
